Admit It. Those little boys with gorgeous eyelashes give you Lash Envy.

I know you know what I’m talking about. We’ve all seen that 3 year old little boy with a set of lashes that would make even the sassiest cow jealous. I’m also willing to bet that if you asked women what ONE makeup item would be their “bare minimum” other than foundation/coverup – the answer would be mascara.

Of course it is. Having beautiful, thick lashes is the easiest way to look bright eyed and bushy tailed without having to do much else. So when I had the opportunity to try out a full set of Lash Extensions from Lashspot Spas, I squeeled and *knew* it would be just perfect for my month of travel and event madness.

What travel madness you ask? Well in April alone, I’ve been to:

  • San Francisco for Brave and the #DisneyPixarEvent
  • Orlando for Chimpanzee Red Carpet Premiere and the #DisneyGlobalEvent
  • Las Vegas for a wee bit of mischief and mayhem

and am gearing up to head to

  • New York City and the Tribeca Film Festival for the #TheAvengersEvent
  • Maui for a wedding (and a little wedding venue scouting of my own!)

this week and next. Now, I know me and I also know these events.

I will run ragged.

I will stay up late and and survive on massive doses of coffee.

I will need to look good regardless.

I will need every second of sleep I can get.

And with my beautiful new lash extensions, those last two will be much easier for me to accomplish!

The photos

Before and After my 2 hour initial application of silk and mink lashes on April 7th…

When I went into LashSpot, I indicated that I would like the lashes to last through May 8th and the girls were very honest with me. They said that it was *possible* with extra special care that they would last the full 4 weeks but that it would be better if I planned on coming back for a fill/touchup in 3 weeks.

Unfortunately, I just don’t have the time to make that happen. But on the flip side, they were kind enough to provide me with a tube of max2 Coating Sealant and instructed me to use it to help extend the life of the lashes.

It’s almost 2 weeks later and I have to say, I am pretty impressed with how well the lashes have held up!

eyelash extensions (2 weeks after photo)

I have used the max2 Coating Sealant every 3-4 days, as instructed and also have avoided using oil based removers or product on my eyes. I have noticed very little shedding and am just really really happy that they still look this good for my Avengers trip this week :)

I’ve already received so many compliments and can’t seem to recommend LashSpot Spas enough. While I was there, I noticed that they offered bridal party packages and will definitely be considering this next year!

PSSSTTTT…a little birdie also told me about Permanent Mascara coming soon….can’t wait to find out more about this too!

Thank you LashSpot for providing me with a complimentary full initial lash extension application for the purposes of this review. No compensation was received and all opinions expressed are mine, all mine.
