Does the new year inspire you to remodel rooms in your home? Have you ever re-done a room not because it needed updating, but just because you wanted a new look? I’m guilty of wanting to change cabinet hardware or a paint color, just to mix things up a little. Since I know you’re busy working, cooking, cleaning, and hopefully having fun, we’re going to search for inspiration ideas for you, with a focus on rooms in a beach cottage.
I love the beams and ceiling as well as the rustic floor in this kitchen, you can easily sweep the sand up at the end of the day. The yellow and gray are bright and cheery and make this small kitchen seem bigger.

While I love the look of open cabinets, it would never work for me, because we’re just not neat enough to make it work. The idea of a reading nook in the kitchen is fabulous!
