Bento Lunchbox Fun: Lion Sandwich

I’ve come across some really cute ways to spruce up your children’s lunches. I LOVE this Bento Lunchbox Lion Sandwich!

Today’s is an adorable Lion Sandwich (excerpt from SnackPicks)!

TOTAL TIME: 5 min SERVINGS: 1

Ingredients:

1 sandwich of choice
2 pieces of string cheese
1 black jelly bean {substitutions:
blueberry or half an olive}

1 raisin
2 green peas (fresh or frozen)
About 20 Cheez-It Crackers

Step 1: Make your child's favorite sandwich and then use a glass to cut a circle shape from it

Step 2: Cut out ears from the corners of the remaining outside edge of sandwich and add them to the circle.

Step 3: Use 2 slices of string cheese for the whites of the eyes and then place 2 peas in the center. Use 1 black olive for nose. Slice a raisin into slivers and arrange to form mouth.

Step 4: Arrange crackers around the sandwich to form a mane
