A couple weeks ago, I had the pleasure of chatting with People’s Most Beautiful Woman, Gwyneth Paltrow about Iron Man 3 and her new cookbook, “It’s All Good“. While both Gwyneth’s parents taught her how to act, it was her father that shared his love of food and cooking with her and was the inspiration for her first cookbook, “My Father’s Daughter: Delicious, Easy Recipes Celebrating Family & Togetherness”.

Her new book, “It’s All Good” is gluten-free, which was written after she was inspired to create recipes that wouldn’t exacerbate her son’s eczema.

“The kitchen is an amazing place to teach and interact with children”

When Paltrow talks about her own children, Apple and Moses, you realize she’s even more down to earth. Yes, she’s crazy talented, but she’s also a Mom that faces a lot of the same everyday challenges other mom’s encounter. It was so awesome to relate to Gwyneth as a mom who puts her children first. She’s a regular person like you and I, with real life hurdles and smart mom solutions!

The entire sweets section of Gwyneth’s cookbook is egg & cow’s milk free for those who have allergies. She calls it a “mini encyclopedia for comfort food” for her son Moses. Her son is also a big fan of Kid Cutter, and call him a “feelings” rapper. Gwyneth says they are a “rap” family, even though her husband sings otherwise in his band Coldplay. Beautiful with an amazing sense of humor, when we asked her if she raps while cooking, she responded “How did you know? Do you have a hidden camera in my kitchen?!?”

Gwyneth was kind enough to give us each a signed copy of her new cookbook and I have to say, the recipes in there look delicious! I’ve been traveling my butt off this month, but as soon as I get a moment, I plan on integrating some of these meals into my family’s meal plan!

Disclaimer: Disney/Marvel provided me with an all expense paid press trip to cover this event and share my experience with you. All opinions are my own.
