OMGeee have you seen Zac Efron in The Lucky One? He is smokin’ hot! And its alright to admire the hunk, because even though he seems young, he’s a very much legal 24. In the film, Efron plays U.S. Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault, who has recently returned to the states from his third tour of duty in Iraq.

During his time in Iraq, Logan discovers a photograph of a woman with the words “Keep Safe” written on its back. Now, Thibault is on a mission to find the woman in the photograph, he credits for saving his life.  Logan does some research and learns her name is Beth and she lives in North Carolina. Not sure what to say to her, he ends up at her home and when he learns her kennel is looking for help, he applies for the job.

Previous experience with men and a rocky relationship with her ex-husband Keith (Jay R. Ferguson) make her wary of Logan. Eventually Logan earns her trust and an unexpected romance develops between them. Is is too good to be true or is Beth more than just Logan’s good luck charm?

The romantic drama, directed by Academy Award®-nominated writer/director Scott Hicks (“Shine,” “No Reservations”), is based on Nicholas Sparks’ bestseller The Lucky One, and also stars Taylor Schilling (TV’s “Mercy”) as Beth and Blythe Danner (“Meet the Parents” franchise) as Beth’s grandmother.
