Did You Make Someone Smile This Week?

Times have been really tough for a lot of people I know. Not only are people in financial distress, but also just feeling the stresses of daily life. It is always nice when you can send a person, who may not doing their best, something to just let then know you are thinking of them.

Teleflora happens to have Make Someone Smile Week this week, July 23 – 28. Yes, today is the last day! Teleflora, along with thousands of their local florists will have delivered more than 30,000 Telefora Be Happy Bouquets by the end of this programs week.

Teleflora’s Be Happy Flower Bouquet is absolutely adorable! Could you imagine being in a funk and getting one of these cute little vases with a sunny bouquet in it? These bouquets are perfect to not only send to someone you know, but also even a charitable organization. For instance, to a floor of hospital for the patients, children in foster care, or nursing home residents.

Teleflora has donated these cute mugs to thousands of participating florists nationwide, in addition to one for every bouquet that has been delivered since its inception in the year 2000. Last year’s Make Someone Smile week spanned 200 cities throughout the United States and Canada, and more than 1,000 florists donated their time. Teleflora delivered more than 25,000 Me Happy Bouquets throughout last years Make Someone Smile week.

*Did you know* It was proven in a national survey that men and women who receive unexpected gifts make them smile? Yep, this survey was conducted just last month, June 4 – 6, 2012 on behalf of Telefora by Harris Interactive, of 2,230 adults aged 18 and older.

Teleflora has been around for more than 75 years. It has become the world’s leading flower delivery service. Their headquarters are located in Los Angeles, California and have thousands of participating florists throughout the U.S. and Canada.
