Today was a day of FIRSTS! First trip to Disneyland. First trip to Disney California Adventure. First time meeting Tinker Bell – the list is endless. Today was, in a word, amazing. I *almost* don’t even know where to begin! First, PLEASE make sure you stay tuned because I do not have enough time to do justice to the many things I experienced today in just one post. If a picture is worth a thousand words, I’m going to need hundred to tell it all!
My Day In Pictures:
After a 6:15am wake up call, I got ready to head out with 26 other new friends to Disneyland. Can you say dream come true!?

Walking down Buena Vista street was like stepping back into the 1920′s. I was overwhelmed with a sense of nostalgia.
The Red Car News Boys were a special delight and they had a trick or two up their sleeve. I’ll be telling you all about it later!
After strolling Buena Vista St we were totally able to interview Crush from Finding Nemo 3d. I got a chance to relay a message from my 2 year old “How many kids do you have?” His answer was 65! And that wasn’t the only secret spilled. ;)
After interviewing Crush we went to Cars Land (about that later!) and with all of the walking, we were all starving. Thankfully we had a lunch fit for a princess waiting for us at The Aladdin Oasis.
Tinker Bell and Periwinkle met us for lunch. Did you know Periwinkle will be inducted into the Disneyland princess group on September 11th?
We finished the day back out at Cars Land inside Disney California Adventures with a breath taking, exhilarating ride on Radiator Spring Racers.
After all this, the day still had two more “firsts” in store for me. On our way home we had the privilege of experiencing one of California’s most popular attractions – sitting in traffic for 2 hours! Thankfully, I was with so many awesome new friends to pass the time. Unfortunately, my cell phone battery died and for a blogger that’s a 9-1-1 emergency.
At the end of the evening, the wonderful people from #DisneyInHomeBloggers hosted a Finding Nemo and Partysaurus Rex cocktail party on the rooftop of my home away from home, The London West Hollywood. The view was simply breathtaking, the food delicious and the company wonderful. It was the perfect way to end an inspiring day.
Thank you to Disney for covering my expenses for this press trip. No additional compensation was received and all opinions expressed are my own.
