Essentials for a Girls Sunday Funday at the Beach

beach girls

Sometimes you just need to grab your girlfriends and get away for the day, or the weekend if you’re lucky enough! Its so nice to be able to grab a bag and leave the house without diapers, sippy cups, toys and kid friendly gadgets! But…a gal still has to have her essentials, right? So here are a few things on my list for a girls Sunday funday at the beach!

Freaker--MetaFirst, you have to take a cold beverage. You could lug a cooler with you, or you could use a Freaker” to keep your water, soda, milk, beer, wine or mixed drink cold! Wait, who brings milk to the beach?!? Never mind, no judging here! What the what is a “freaker”? A seriously cool, one size fits all sweater for any size bottle that keeps your drink cold and your hands dry. Its a coozie, but better. Kind of one of those, why didn’t I invent these ideas!

Raw Elements ECO StickOf course equally as important as beverages, is protection. Get your mind out of the gutter, I’m talking about sunscreen! Grab a Raw Elements Eco-Stick and keep your face and the environment safe. This organic sunscreen can even be applied underwater, and if you drop the tube, it floats. (Gnarly dude!) Did you know that most common sunscreens can be harmful to the environment and the ocean due to some of the ingredients? I actually didn’t know this until I recently swam with dolphins in Jamaica. Raw Elements is eco friendly, reef safe and biodegradable. Because I’m a fan of exploring the ocean while on vacation as well, this will be a permanent staple in my travel bag as well. I would hate to contribute to fish or other sea animals getting sick, right?

Mango Tree BanglesEven on the beach, with sand sticking to you, looking and feeling great is important. That’s why I like to wear a few accessories, like bangles from Mango Tree and this simple knot ring from Kiel Mead. The bangles are GORGEOUS wood designs that make me think of Mexico or Bali.

Dark Choclate, Sea Salt & Walnuts Toffee from Two Girls Toffery

After swimming, surfing, lounging and catching up, its time for some food to go with those drinks. While sandwiches, fruit, snack bars and chips are fine, chocolate and toffee is better. WAYYYYY better. Two Girls Toffery is the perfect snack for a girls day with “nutty” friends! Let the gossip begin!

How about you, what’s a must have when you hit the beach with friends?
