One of the many reasons I look forward to summer is that this is the time when movie studios release some of the most anticipated blockbusters of the year. This summer is definitely no exception with films like “Monsters University”, “Man of Steel”, “Planes”, “The Lone Ranger”, “Despicable Me 2” and others rolling into theaters. Having children now, I was thinking about which films they will remember fondly and I started looking back to my childhood in the process, and some of my favorites that I still love to watch, even now that I’m “all grown-up”.
My Top 10 Favorite Movies from Childhood
- Star Wars
- The Goonies
- Mary Poppins
- Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory
- The Neverending Story
- Sound of Music
- Lady & The Tramp
- Fox and The Hound
- Back to the Future
So, which summer movies do you think your children will still be watching as adults?
