What’s Your Biggest Hair Problem?

This post brought to you by Sam’s Club. All opinions are 100% mine.

Can I be honest? The women in hair care product commercials irritate me. Their hair is just so..perfect and it’s just plain unreasonable. Because unless you’re Gisele Bündchen, you have probably had your fair share of bad hair days. In fact, I can count the number of times I’ve had “hair commercial hair” on one hand. The last time due to a fabulous blow out I received at a salon in Chicago. FYI, I can’t afford to get a blow out every day. Neither do I have the time. I’m LUCKY to make it through the wash and rinse portion of styling my hair.

The crux of my appearance has always been my hair. Growing up I tried to force it straight with hot irons and chemicals. My hair rebelled by dying and becoming a hot mess. Now that I’m a little older I would like to say that I have my hair under control but honestly I don’t. I still have not mastered the perfect haircut and on more than one disasterous occasion have rocked the Shirley Temple look. There are days where I attempt a sweeping updo only to have it fall flat. Days where I add too much volume and end up resembling Frankensteins bride.

If I’m lucky in one aspect, it’s that my hair curls in nice ringlets – that is when there isn’t an ounce of humidity in the air. My biggest “hair problem” is frizz. It turns my ringlets into a fluffy, frizzy mess. As such, I’m always on the lookout for products that can stand up to humidity. Garnier® Sleek and Shine system claims it will keep your hair sleek for up to 3 days, even in 97% humidity.

Garnier Sleek and Shine

That sounds like it may be right up my alley. All of their anti-frizz products including the Sleek and Shine system use ultra-smoothing Argan Oil from Morocco and Apricot Oil. But not everyone has frizzy hair, in addition to Sleek N Shine® Shampoo and Sleek N Shine® Conditioner you can also find Color Shield® Shampoo and Color Shield® Conditioner – made especially for color treated hair. You can find these Garnier products at Sam’s Club.

What special hair “needs” do you deal with daily that Garnier® products could help you with

My hair is curly and frizzy, but it’s only curly if I put a bunch of crap in it, otherwise it’s just frizzy. BUT… it’s SO curly that if I straighten it, an hour later it’s curly/frizzy again.

my ends are really dry and can make it hard to look shiny. but i blame that on not getting my hair cut for over a year now! :(

I swim 3 times a week and my hair gets a bit dried out, but mostly it’s good.
