I Have A Super Heroish Sort of Secret To Share
Okay, so maybe I’m not actually Iron Man per say, but I do have super powers! I can type faster than the speed of light, run a NYC mile in 6 inch heels, multitask like no ones business and pack a punch in 140 characters. Did I mention I get to travel to fancy places like the Red Carpet Premiere of Iron Man 3? It’s true!
Make sure you’re following along because from April 23rd to the 25th we’ll be using all our social media powers to share the experience with you virtually. Our days will be filled with interviews with cast members (to be announced), touring and having breakfast at the world famous El Capitan Theatre AND getting my picture taken with Tony Stark at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum!
Oh, and of course, walking the red carpet and attending the premiere of Iron Man 3! Maybe I’ll even get my picture taken with the real Tony Stark aka Robert Downey Jr. (cross your fingers and toes for me). Do you think a group of 25 bloggers could inconspicuously “borrow” him and take him back to the Sheraton Hotel with us? Ah well, if not I’ll settle for watching him on the big screen. You can see him too when Iron Man 3 hits theaters everywhere May 3rd!
Marvel’s “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?
Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, Marvel’s “Iron Man 3” is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce & Shane Black and is based on Marvel’s iconic Super Hero Iron Man, who first appeared on the pages of “Tales of Suspense” (#39) in 1963 and had his solo comic book debut with “The Invincible Iron Man” (#1) in May of 1968.
The biggest thank you ever goes to Disney and Marvel for inviting me to this amazing event and allowing me to use these images on my site.
