Vegas or Bust!

This post brought to you by Southwest Airlines Vacations. All opinions are 100% mine.

While my husband and I don’t necessarily do the whole “new years resolution” we do talk about what we would like to see happen over the next year. Traveling more was just one of the things we talked about accomplishing this year. We take an annual vacation to Florida but we really would like to expand our horizons.  One of the top destinations on our list is Vegas Baby!

While we agree on the destination, Las Vegas offers so many options we can’t seem to agree on the details. First, the hotels – do we stay at the MGM Grand, Bellagio, Ceasars Palace, or The Mirage? Don’t even get me started on the attractions, tours, and entertainment. Jake want’s to see the Shark Reef Aquarium Mandalay Bay where as I would prefer Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat. Do we go boating on Lake Mead or raft down Colorado River? On this one we’re actually beginning to agree – raft down the Colorado.

Come to think of it we also agree on trying a new restaurant every time we eat. We like to try both the famous local hotspots and fine dining restaurants. Visiting at least two spas is high on the priority list too, we need to relax and unwind a little. Finally, hit the casinos. I mean come on, it’s VEGAS! I hope Jakes luck rubs off on me because I’m terrible at my favorite game, Black Jack.

Come to think of it, maybe we agree on more than we though. Perfect timing too because right now Southwest Airline Vacations is offering a heck of a deal on Las Vegas Vacations! Right now we can save $50 on Package price of $500-$1,000,  $75 on Package price of $1,000-$2,000, $100 on Package price of $2,000+ (valid if trip is booked between 5/14 – 5/27) when you use PROMO CODE: VEGAS. Even better with Southwest Vacations there are no baggage fees – that’s a savings of $120 roundtrip!
