What Are Your Skincare Issues? Wrinkles? Sun Damage? Let’s Chat.

Woman and kidsAs a 43 year old mom of five, and grandmother to three precious grand-babies, my mom looks phenomenal! But like many women, many years of chasing and laughing with kids is starting to show. She often complains about laugh lines and crows feet along her smile and eyes. The crux of it is, she has always taken great care of her skin and has taught me to do the same. Her skincare routine consist of daily washing with warm water, followed by an SPF moisturizer. For as long as I can remember she has also used a nightly moisturizing cream.

She suffers from fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, and sun damage. Fortunately, her awesome (ahem) daughter presented her with the RoC Retinol Correxion Skincare line of products which consists of some great products:

Wrinkle Resurfacing System

RoC Skincare 1

The resurfacing system is a two-step kit that’s supposed to be 4x effective than a 3 dermatologist peels. It helps in the improvement of crows feet, cheek wrinkles, uneven skin tone, sun damage and overall skin appearance. Basically, exactly what my mom is looking for!

Deep Wrinkle Serum and Eye Cream

RoC Skincare

These two products are clearly great for problem areas. The Eye Cream addresses crows feet, dark circles and puffiness. On second thought, I may have to sneak this one back from her. As a mom and student who averages very little sleep, these are problems I have daily! The Deep Wrinkle Serum helps to improve the radiance of skin by reducing fine lines and deep wrinkles.

Deep Wrinkle Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30 and Deep Wrinkle Night Cream

RoC Skincare 2

Lastly, these two are the perfect duo.  These two make great staples to any skincare routine – they work to firm skin and reduce deep wrinkles. Both show signs of improvement in 8 weeks of use. Needless to say, my mom is really looking forward to week 8.

Like most women, we love trying out new skincare products and even though I’m not quite ready for them yet I happily helped her test out the texture and feel of the products. The entire line was really light weight and soaked into the skin, leaving behind no oily residue – which is great because we both have sensitive skin (like mother, like daughter).

While we haven’t had them long enough to see the effects yet we will be following up again later this month! In the mean time we will be learning more information about beauty and skincare using the RoC Academy. With that in mind, we would love for you to leave us your beauty skincare questions in our comments section. We will randomly choose ONE commenter to win a RoC Gift Basket! Be sure to record your entries in the widget below. US winners only. Giveaway ends 3/25/14.

You’re also invited to a Twitter party Thursday, April 3, at 1 p.m. ET, using the #RoCAcademy hashtag. (RSVP here!) A board-certified dermatologist will be on hand to answer your skincare questions in real time!

Is there any way to tell which products/brands have the highest concentration of active ingredients? Also, does anything actually help with bags under the eyes?
