Class is In Session! Get Educated in Skin Care with RoC Academy

RoC Party
A short time ago I brought you a review of the RoC Retinol Correxion Skincare line that my mom and I enjoyed. They were light, creamy and oil-free. While my mom has been happily using the products for the last two weeks; I have been doing some studying at the RoC Academy.  Not only did I gain enough information to answer some of the beauty questions you submitted, I learned a lot more. In fact, I was even able to put together a fun fact sheet, which I shared at the RoC Academy ‘Skincare Class’ I hosted for my my grandmother, mom, cousin and sister.

RoC Academy Fact Sheet

For me, it was important to educate women of all ages because good skincare starts early. Plus, nearly all women have signs of aging – even young women! Which we learned from the RoC Infographic.

Q:  “I have really dry skin, but it’s also sensitive! Any tips for me?” – Cassandra

A: I have the same problem. First, whenever you begin using a new skincare product test it using just a small area first. I did this with the RoC products and they were all so gentle. Moving on the the problem of dry skin. There are several factors that can contribute to dry, rough-looking skin, like reduced production from sweat and oil glands, which can result in less natural oil to lubricate the skin. There is also an issue of dehydration. First Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate. Second, apply an SPF moisturizer morning and night.

Q: “Can similar results, as peels and resurfacing, be achieved with over the counter products, like Roc?” – Erin

A: So glad you asked this! The RoC ResurfacingSsystem is a two-step kit that’s supposed to be 4x effective than a 3 dermatologist peels. It helps in the improvement of crows feet, cheek wrinkles, uneven skin tone, sun damage and overall skin appearance. All of the benefits of a peel without the redness, burning or dryness! And unlike peels, you are encouraged to layer products!

If you’re interested in learning more about a healthy skincare routine I invite you to join me at the #ROCacademy Twitter Party on April 3rd at 1pm EST!

This post is written on behalf of RoC Academy by me. All opinions are 100% mine.

Once I hit my 30′s I realized I needed to really start a routine for my skin. Years of fun in the sun without sunscreen definitely did some damage, so I am interested in checking out Roc Retinol to see what it can do for me!

I just bought a RoC starter kit! It has made my skin visibly smoother in just days. I’m a new fan.
