Price is a MAJOR issue for us when choosing a place to stay. We don’t travel that often, but when we do, my hubby and I constantly argue over how much per night is reasonable. We’re planning a quick weekend trip to San Antonio this Fall with the kids and wanted a room on the Riverwalk. In the past, we’ve always stayed at the same hotel but this trip we were open to finding the best bang for our buck as long as it met our criteria.The site allows you to search for what’s important to you with filters for: free breakfast, free parking, free wi-fi, airport shuttle, special rates/discounts and room layouts. Some of the things we wanted: a four star or higher rating located on the Riverwalk, with Free Hotel Internet and Free Hotel Parking. 

Our search results were on the page in seconds and we were able to get a room on the Riverwalk for under $200 a night which is a bargain! Although, we couldn’t find a room we liked with free parking, that’s extremely rare on the Riverwalk anyway. And I liked the way they show the lowest rate first, even if the rate is with a partner site.

Normally, I’d go directly to a few of my favorite hotel chain sites and search for rates and availability. Then we’d hop between the sites comparing the rates, location and amenities, not only does that take a lot of time, but eventually it can get a little confusing. I found that using Room 77 really streamlined our trip planning, while giving us the best rate. Cha-Ching!
