I am so excited about the new Disney film, “The Odd Life of Timothy Green” that is coming out in theaters everywhere on August 15, 2012. This movie is being brought to the big screen by Academy Award Winner, writer/director Peter Hedges of “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape”, and is starring, one of favorite actresses, Jennifer Garner, as well as Joel Edgerton and CJ Adams.

The movie, “The Odd Life of Timothy Green”, is about a happily married couple, Cindy and Jim, who cannot wait to start a family but only seems to dream about what the child will be like. Then, one stormy night, a young boy named Timothy shows up at their doorstep. Young Timothy brings some of life’s greatest gifts to Cindy and Jim, and the town of Stanleyville. It is through Timothy that they learn sometimes the unexpected can bring they greatest gifts.

I had the unique opportunity to see this film back in April and it is completely not what I expected. Even though the overall notion is a big magical, the message and feeling you get after seeing this film is magical in itself. It makes you truly value your family and think about what is important in your life.

Inspired by this movie, Disney has created an application, which will allow fans of “The Odd Life of Timothy Green” to upload photo’s of their own life’s magical moments. When a photo is submitted, it will become of the Magical Moments Photo Collage:

This application will also serve as an entry in to a Sweepstakes in which the grand prize will be a Frigidaire Affinity washer and dryer! A promo code for a photo book by Shutterfly will then be awarded to 25 first-place winners.
