Have Dinner AND a Movie at Studio Movie Grill

How many of you can relate to date night with your spouse, feeling more like a reality show on speed dating? With baby sitters in high demand and charging premium summer rates, we often have to make tough decisions. Do we make a sandwich and just run to the movie theater, hope we get a decent seat, and then race back to the house before our sitter’s meter exceeds our budget? Skip the movie and just grab dinner?

Once we discovered Studio Movie Grill’s food and reserved seating option, we declared it date night central! Both of us love movies, and being able to get out of the house at the last minute, knowing we’ll still have good seats, makes everything less stressful! Reasonably priced food and regular specials like Margarita Mondays (Half price house margaritas, frozen/on the rocks), Endless Pizza Wednesdays ($9.95 a person), and half price domestic draft beers on Thursday, make it affordable!

They also have a full bar, so you can watch those adorable minions or Johnny Depp on horseback, while sipping on a Long Island Tea, a beer, or a glass of wine. What goes well with a cold beer? Pizza! I love the pizzas at Studio Movie Grill so much, that you can usually find me at the movies on Wednesday evenings. Its not that I can eat more than one pizza, but I like being able to try more than one for just $9.95. Try the BBQ chicken and Margherita!

Taking the kids to see movies at Studio Movie Grill is also easier than the traditional theater. I have no idea, whether they behave better because they love the chicken tenders or if its the office chair seating, but whatever it is, it works. And, I’m happy they offer special summer movie deals for kids like this week’s film, “The Muppets Take Manhattan”, at 11 AM with kids tickets $1 and adults $2!

No kids? Check with your local Studio Movie Grill to find out about promotions like Brews ‘n’ Views and Girls Night Out, where they show oldies but goodies for reduced ticket prices!

Thank you Studio Movie Grill for providing my family with complimentary passes to see a movie in order to facilitate this review!

We ordered the featured platter while we were there. Like Pam, I definitely will make this a date night with my husband.

It does sound good, although I’m partial to Margherita. :)
