In Michigan you have to options – you’re a State Fan of a Michigan Fan. The rivalry between our NCAA Big Ten schools runs deep and families are divided because of it. My husband comes from a die hard Michigan State family, while mine bleeds Maize and Blue but we manage to make it work – until football season. In just 8 days the annual Michigan vs Michigan State game will take place on November 2nd. As soon as the Halloween festivities are over we begin to prepare for game day at our house.

Greatness Exist in Everyone

All bets are off and relationships will be tested as our friends from both sides come over to watch the game. Stats will be spouted, last years game will be brought up more than once (Michigan killed ‘em last year by the way), and rushing yards will be talked until we’re blue in the face. We may need to hire referees for the viewers – just kidding, sort of.

It’s funny the way rivalry can “tear” us apart and bring us together. One minute the guys can be spewing put downs and the next they will be talking working over intermission. This year they can focus their competition elsewhere during breaks with the  “Save Your Season” QB Challenge. They can put their (virtual) skills to the test and compete against one another. Plus they will have a chance to win an Xbox One. They can even send smack talk ecards – great for rubbing salt in the wounds post game!

Target

Pssst! Ladies! Keep your house from smelling like a locker room with this awesome deal from Dove Men+Care™, AXE®, Degree™ Men and the NCAA. When you buy any 3 of the participating products for him, you will get a $5 Target Gift Card for you. It’s a win, win situation!
