Yesterday as the rain and storms arrived in Houston, a special package also rolled into town on the mile long, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus train. While rain threatened to dampen the pachyderm’s parade down Holly Hall Street to Reliant Stadium, the skies had cleared by the time they began their march.
We loaded the kids up and found a prime spot to watch and take a few photos as a half dozen of the circus’ biggest stars walked right past us.
My son and daughter eagerly waiting to see the elephants
Who knew elephants could walk so fast?
The large and in charge elephants were born at the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Center for Elephant Conservation®, a 200-acre facility dedicated to the reproduction, research and retirement of the endangered Asian elephant.
I haven’t been to the circus in over 20 years and this will be our first time with the kids! We’re so excited to see their reactions to the performers and can’t wait to see Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey present “Fully Charged” at Reliant Stadium July 12-29. Stayed tuned for our adventure!
Thank you to Ringling Bros for inviting me to see the Pachyderm March in person.
