  • #ad Have you traveled solo/alone before? Did you 💕 it? I'll be honest - it's my favorite way to travel (sh - don’t tell my husband!) Less noise, more bed & I can change my mind as often as I want 😂 - what more could you ask for? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I think we can all agree that life is full of, well, life. You never know what tomorrow, or even today, will bring. Whether it be hectic, joyous, disappointing, exciting, stressful or satisfying - I'm always looking for more. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ More what? More experiences. More food. More laughter. More discoveries. More life. 🙋🏻‍♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But funny enough, recently this has also led me on a search for less. Less technology. Less stress. Less noise. 😖 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So I decided to take some time to explore more of my own "back yard" and take a me-cation. I chose Santa Barbara for my #solotravel trip and with so much to do, see and eat, I really appreciated having the @Expedia Mobile App to help me decide on where to stay and fun things to do on my little solo getaway. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Two days in Santa Barbara is definitely not enough time.   • #CruiseLife on the Douro River... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It’s funny how you usually need a day or two to decompress after a vacation. Yeah - that “vacation from your vacation”. Dealing with crowds and lines, over scheduling sight seeing, staying within your budget, trying to figure out your next meal, being constantly on-the-go, not having enough time to explore or rest, or even just adjusting to jet-lag - these are just a few travel stresses that often take away from our vacation experience. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is one of the things I love about River Cruising with @vikingcruises.
