As a side note, I grew up having Rice Krispie treats that were made with Marshmallow Creme instead of regular marshmallows. I have always kind of felt that my Rice Krispie treats were completely superior to everyone else’s.

As I have consulted numerous people about their Rice Krispie making habits, however, I am learning that I might be the only person who makes them with the creme.

Have you ever tried it?  If not you should give my way a try, it might take some getting used to, but they are less sticky, more pliable and completely delicious.

  1. Frankenstein is the mad scientist’s name who created “The Monster” in Mary Shelly’s novel. I cannot understand why it is that people keep referring to the ‘The Monster” as Frankenstein, when clearly the monster is a monster and Frankenstein is a man. “Monster Treats” would be a more appropriate title for these. .
