Destination weddings are a bridal trend that doesn’t appear to be letting up anytime soon. And why would they? Gorgeous carribean waters, fantastic weather, white sandy beaches and oh the tropical flowers. There are a lot of ways a beachy bride can go with the her tropical wedding bouquet. We’ve been spotting trends including all white bouquets, huge pops of color and subdued creations that still manage to come off as very beachy.

We have found 9 Gorgeous Tropical Wedding Bouquets to use as inspiration when discussing the bridal bouquet with your florist or wedding planner. We have come up with the following list of flowers as a good starting off point but a knowledgeable florist will be able to take this list and run with it.

To create the bright beachy vibes seen below consider:

  • Bright calla lily
  • Spiky orange dahlias
  • Garden roses
  • Dropscymbidium orchids (or any orchids)
  • Gloriosa lilies
  • Blushing brides
  • Nerines
  • Hibiscus

For greens or to create an earthy feel consider:

  • Elephant ear leaves
  • Winding passionflower vine
  • leucodendron
  • hosta leaves

I really enjoy the earthy appeal of this bouquet. It’s still very tropical but more subduede.

I love the classic mini calla lillies featured in gorgeous, rich colors. Classic but modern and totally tropical.

Personally this is my favorite tropical wedding bouquet. It has just the right mix of island flowers with bright pops of colors. LOVE.

  1. They are all gorgeous, but my favorite is the one with plumeria – I can just imagine how beautiful it must smell!

  2. Absolutely gorgeous. I love the bright colors that tropical flowers can give naturally as opposed to having to dye flowers for the color. These are glorious examples to bring a bit of the tropics to a wedding no matter where it is.

  3. I love the bright colors. I opted the same for my wedding many years ago. All tropical flowers with birds of paradise too. :)
