Celebrate Sharon Osbourne, the Queen of The Talk’s 60th Birthday

Heads up everybody, tomorrow October 9, you’re going to want to tune into CBS for “The Talk” (2:00 PM, ET/1:00 PM, PT) as they celebrate Sharon Osbourne’s 60th birthday! Tomorrow’s special “royal” celebration includes appearances from her husband, legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne, and her daughter, Kelly Osbourne.

Sharon’s been holding court on “The Talk” since 2010, where she and her colleagues, including Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen and Aisha Tyler, discuss current events and issues.

Sharon spent over 30 years in the music industry where she managed successful artists’ careers, including Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Electric Light Orchestra, Smashing Pumpkins, Motorhead and Slade. In 1996, Sharon created and produced Ozzfest, the biggest and most successful hard rock touring festival in America. Ozzfest recently celebrated its 13th year.

Just ten years ago, in 2002, Sharon was diagnosed with colon cancer, with a 33% survival prognosis. Her battle with the disease was documented during the second season of MTV’s reality show The Osbournes. Now as a survivor,  she created the Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Foundation in association with Cedars Sinai Medical Center. The Foundation’s mission is to provide free screenings, support and healthcare to those who can’t afford it and are afflicted with the disease.

America’s Got Talent co-star Nick Cannon also visits “The Talk” to wish his close friend a happy birthday. Nick brings along a special birthday message from his wife, Mariah Carey. The elaborate birthday cake was created by Ace of Cakes star Duff Goldman, in the likeness of Osbourne’s beloved Pomeranian Bella.

The show also features special giveaways and commemorative segments looking back on Sharon’s amazing life and career. What’s next for this amazing woman? She recently told People,

”I want to learn another language other than swearing,” she quips. “I want to learn Italian. I don’t know one word other than pasta, but I will learn.”

I wonder if they’ll be subtitles for Ozzy, I almost never understand what he’s saying!
