2014 Florida Vacation Bucket List

Universal Studios
This Michigan weather has been awful and I’ve been counting down to a Florida escape since January. I’ll be down there for a fantastic three weeks soaking up the sunshine, relaxing on the beach and of course taking in the attractions. I visit Florida at least once a year and there are some things I’ve done a thousand times, because I enjoy visiting them over and over again. This time I’m hoping to check some new things off my list!

2014 Florida Vacation Bucket List

Visit Medieval Times
I visited Medieval Times wwaaayyyy back when, on my very first trip to Florida at the height of my crazy-horse-girl obsession. My grandparents took me to the show and it was so much fun. I’ve been meaning to get back for quite some time and have never made it – choosing instead to try new attractions. It’s high time I made it back!

Universal Studios Take #2: Adults Only
I actually visited Universal Studios for the first time last year. But when traveling with two toddlers, only one of which squeaked by the 40in mark, it was hard to quench my adrenaline seeking heart. Not only will I get to satisify my adrenaline thirst, we will also be partaking in their Mardi Gras celebration!

The Florida Aquarium
It makes me sad that I didn’t even know this existed. More than just an aquarium, they also are home to some cute fur-critters as well. My daughter is going to love this one!

Swim with Manatees
Ever since my foray in snorkeling with sharks and snuba diving with the fish I’ve become obsessed with marine life. Next on my list? Swimming with some of the gentlest creatures on earth – manatees! There are a few tour options that go daily so I’m sure I’ll be able to squeeze these in some where.

Blue Man Group
I’ve heard many people RAVE about this show, although I’ve never actually attended myself. I’m excited to be sharing this experience with my husband.

My favorite part of this Florida vacation is that my in-laws will be joining us for our first ever family vacation. They will be coming along with me on many of these adventures and it will be their first time in Florida too! I just hope I’m able to keep up. I love touching down in the sunshine state but the change in humidity, air pressure, and environment wreak havoc on my sinuses. There have been numerous trips where I’ve spent my days walking around in a fog thanks to sinus pain and pressure.

Have you ever missed out on a special moment because of sinus issues? You can enter to win a SUDAFED REPLAY™ to help relive your missed out moments. It’s so easy, just share your moment on the SUDAFED® Facebook page and you will be entered to win a $250 gift card for such experiences as a Flight Replay, Sporting Event Replay, or Movie Replay. The sweepstakes is open through April 6, 2014.
