If your best friend were asked to describe your sense of style with one word, what would it be? Trendy? Hip? Glam? Traditional? Outlandish? Wait, hold up, I’m not the most fashionable person around, but if someone’s describing my look, I hope the adjectives outlandish, unusual or tacky aren’t spoken! But when you’re the (self proclaimed) “Queen of All Media” like Perez Hilton, well, your sense of style might be inspired to give people something to talk about. Or…he wasn’t allowed to play dress up as a child and is making up for lost time… but I digress.

Hilton who has been called a fashion disaster, freak, celeb wanna-be and Lady Gaga’s brotha from anotha motha, (alright so maybe the last one was all me) definitely follows his own dress code. I say, so what! Life would be boring if we all followed the trends and colored inside the lines.

The gossipmeister certainly has a look that evolves and his brand is evolving too. His focus has expanded to fitness, fashion and music. In September, you can find Perez on the stage of NEWSical the Musical at Theatre Row in New York.

Plus, all of you SoCal local yocals, can find the slimmed down Perez Hilton, along with Bella Thorne, star of the hit TV series “Shake it Up!” at “5 Towers” this Friday August 31. Hilton and Thorne will be joined by musical up and comers IM5, All Day Everyday, Wellington and VanJess, who will perform live in front of  a standing room only crowd a Universal CityWalk’s state-of-the-art outdoor concert venue.

Concerts will continue throughout the weekend with Chilean band Sajama playing some smooth Latin rhyhms on Saturday, 80s rock from The Spazmatics on Sunday and the concert series wraps up on Monday with The Rocket Summer, headlined by singer/songwriter Bryce Avary. For more information, visit City Walk Hollywood Spotlight Series.
