The more I carry my GoPro during my travels the further I fall in love. Instead of carrying a handheld, my Canon and a waterproof camera in order to get the perfect shot, I finally found something to make my life easier, my family less annoyed and my tech bag lighter. It’s made for capturing sweet family moments, long summer breaks and every new destination my wanderlust takes me, which is why we’re so interested in the new GoPro Hero+LCD! Our conclusion? It also makes an awesome all-in-one “Father’s Day” gift (call it whatever you have to, to get it).

While you’re busy capturing everything from gorgeous 8MP photos or 1080p60 video, you will have the convenience of an integrated touch display. Not only does it make operation easier, but you no longer have to wait for the opportunity to connect to the GoPro App for replay or making sure you’ve lined up the perfect shot. Like previous models, the GoPro Hero+ LCD also comes with built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® connect for easy content sharing to Instagram, Facebook, and more.

Protune offers cinema-quality capture of photos and videos, as well as manual control over color, ISO limit, exposure and other settings. Want to remember a specific moment while taking a long video? The HiLight Tag makes it easy to identify video highlights to simplify playback, editing and sharing.

Night Photo

With it’s auto low light technology, the GoPro Hero+ LCD determines the appropriate frame rate to ensure optimal low-light performance which translates into awesome night shots.

One of my favorite places to take my GoPro is underwater. On a recent trip to Cozumel, I came face to face(ish) with a barracuda. With quick capture you can capture moments like this with just one click. Plus with it’s wide angle lens you can capture sharp, realistic footage in either 1080p @ 60, 50, 30 or 25 fps, 720p @ 60 or 50 fps or 720p SuperView @ 60 or 50 fps.

Who doesn’t love free stuff? Pick up the new HERO+LCD and get a free 32GB Extreme Plus memory card at Best Buy (just in time for Father’s Day!). Valid 6/14-6/20 Plus, get a free $50 Best Buy Gift Card with purchase of the GoPro HERO4 Silver or GoPro HERO4 Black. Valid 6/7-6/20.

  1. I have been thinking about getting a go pro for a while. It would be perfect to capture those summer action shots.

  2. I have been asking for a Go-Pro for a while now. I have a birthday coming up next month and I am hoping to get one then :)
