Last month, I used one of my favorite online shopping tools, Sweet Relish, to show you a Rustic Wedding inspired Spring Groomsman outfit based on the classic and handsome Blakley bow tie from Brier & Moss. Sweet Relish was kind enough to send me one of these amazing ties to give to Ben (yippeee!) but to be honest with you, neither one of us have ever tied a “real” bow tie. After a little research online, I was unsatisfied with the “how to tie a bow tie step by step” tutorials I found so I decided to create my own. I hope this comes in handy for you the next time you need to dress up your dapper fellow! (and now I’m seriously considering having our groomsmen wear bow ties – I LOVE this look with the vest in the top photo!!)
What do you think? Would a bow tie fit into a beach wedding?

Fortunately, I have never been asked to perform this task – and I’m embarrassed to admit that I still haven’t mastered the more familiar and commonly asked favor/service of tying (or helping a guy) tie/put on a straight tie. My brain just wasn’t wired for intricate tasks like this! LOL
