The Lenovo Horizon 2S: A Desktop Sized Tablet?

The Lenovo Horizon 2s has given new meaning to the term “Family Computer”. This 2-in-1 Tabletop PC can be carried from room to room and used as a desktop or a tablet. With screen dimensions of 19.29 x 11.53 x 0.6 inches, this spectacular screen provides incredible clarity in either horizontal or portrait view and battery life lasts up to three hours which means no worrying about staying close to an outlet. It also has a 4th Generation Intel Core i3-4030U Processor and a Windows 8.1 operating system.

When I need to work from home, I prefer a desktop. Using an actual mouse and keyboard is much easier when I need to access my company software. The AccuType wireless keyboard and mouse offer a modern, tangle-free desktop set up which I can move to wherever the quietest area in my house happens to be at the moment.

All of the above aside, my favorite feature is the Aura Interface. In tablet mode, you can access all of your content with this incredible interface. Multiple users can work at the same time to edit photos or you can enjoy a family night together playing games. The large, durable screen makes it perfect for multiple players at once. I can take the Lenovo anywhere we go and entertain the family without having to lug around boxes or game pieces. There is something for every age group (including my husband’s) as well as educational activities.

I am never without my phone which means that is how I take 90% of my photos. Instead of emailing photos or importing them to the computer, I can now transfer photos with a flick of the wrist.

Transfer all of your info from your phone to the computer in a flash. Download the Aura app on your phone, engage the app and with a simple shake you can transfer all the photos from your phone directly to the computer.

You can also place your phone directly on the screen to send everything from your mobile world to your computer. Once your content is available you can immediately start editing and saving. Just touch and drag the items you want. Enlarge, edit, toss, and save all right there with just your fingertips.

With three hours of battery life I can happily stream an HD movie while I soak in the tub. No messy wires and the larger HD screen allows for high quality viewing.

I love that this tablet PC makes my life as a working mom that much easier. With one computer I can entertain, work, play, and get so much done. The Lenovo Horizon 2S has mastered the art of 2 in 1, which has clearly helped me master the art of multi-tasking.

#spon: I am in a partnership with Intel. Through this partnership I gain access to content, product, or other forms of value.IEL7 2M6Uy

  2. Like you I feel more comfortable with a desktop computer than a laptop and find myself being more efficient in my blogging when I have a bigger screen to work off of. However i also like the convenience of a laptop. I have been wondering how this would work and now you’re tempting me to try it out :)

  15. That tablet is huge. I like tablets generally because they are small – this is the size of a laptop.

  16. Now THAT’S a tablet! I’ve never understood the recent move to smaller tablets. If I want something small, that’s what my phone is for.

  17. This looks like a great tablet! I’ve always hated that tablets are getting smaller. They’re turning into giant phones, not tablets.
