8 Items Tech Lovers Should Add to Their Wedding Registry at Best Buy

Wedding season is just around the corner and invitations should be arriving in the mail within the next month. Creating a wedding registry is one of the final items to check off a couples to-do list. This is such an exciting time as a couple virtually fills their future home with items that will be incorporated into their daily life. I found some interesting statistics regarding wedding registries at About.Com:

  • More than 91 percent of couples register for wedding gifts
  • $19 billion is spent buying presents at wedding gift registries
  • The average amount spent on a wedding gift is in the $70-$100 range

Newlyweds today are in as much need of electronics and small appliances as they are silverware and towels. If your future husband is anything like mine, he is going to be way more excited about bluetooth speakers for future outdoor dinner parties or a great camera for documenting our lives together.

When you think about your wedding registry in modern terms, it makes complete sense to set up a Wedding Registry at Best Buy.

  1. These are great ideas for a gift registry! I had no clue Best Buy had one even. I should tell my two friends who are getting married soon.

  2. I’m already married but I think I need to add this stuff to my wish list! I need it all! Besides the mixer I have that exact one in black and YES everyone needs one!

  3. I have a T3i and love it. That Dyson is an amazing vac. We have a Keurig and even though we have to clean it often due to hard water build up, its still perfect for when you want your coffee quick. I do have to say I love my French Press though.

  4. These are fantastic gift ideas for any occasion. I wish someone would have bought us a vacuum for our wedding…I bought one for Valentine’s Day…Along with other gifts. A definite rookie husband mistake.

  5. Truthfully I would never have thought to go to Best Buy to look for someones wedding registry. Hopefully they would let you know. There are quite a few items that would be better purchased at Best Buy then other places!

  6. Ha! I’m the morning person in my relationship, but I still need a Keurig to survive. Those are great additions to any wish list.

  7. Those truly are awesome items for any bride and groom and if they received any of them I am sure they would be thrilled. I love the idea of group giving when the items are pricey.

  8. Hey Ashley,
Love your blog. Wouldn’t have thought of buying a blender at Best Buy. That’s more of a Walmart purchase for me.
But I did buy a guitar once at Best Buy! Another unlikely item, I guess.
