Rosa Clara 2014 Soft Collection Wedding Dresses

I’m in LOVE with The Rosa Clara 2014 Soft Collection Wedding Dresses. They are simply GORGEOUS. Rosa Clara gave a preview of her 2014 wedding collections at the 15th Miami Fashion Week and won the “Bridal Designer of the Year” award.

Rosa Clara is inspired by: all the designers from all the fashion history, you must take the best of each one.

The Soft collection features more than 30 full length dresses in tulle and silk viola and are designed to huge the body. As someone who has never really liked the traditional wedding dress the Soft Collection is right up my alley.  In my opinion they’re sophisticated, glamorous and yet remain a timeless piece – not the kind of dress that will make me cringe in 15 years as I look back through my wedding photos. Part of this is due to the fact that the fashion-forward collection is inspired by the 1920’s flapper looks and timeless women like Audrey Hepburn (one of my favorite actresses) and Grace Kelly of the 1950’s.

The following are my 6 favorite dresses from the collection – beginning with Urano, pictured above.

The long flowing body of Unax reminds me of a goddess.

The pictures of this dress does NOT do it justice. The pattern is almost entirely made out of intricate beadwork.

With it’s open back, sleek design and intricate beading the Ulema is one of my favorite designs. Tool is often associated with the large princess ball gowns but this isn’t anything like the princess style. It’s soft and whimsical design comes across as both sexy and demure.

To me, Ubela embodies old hollywood glamour. It reminds me of Marilyn, although it may be a bit modest for her fashion style. ;) Bonus, I’m not usually one for sleeves because they cover up too much but I feel like these somehow show off her arms.

Ubeda screams Audrey Hepburn to me. Like the Ubela, I love it’s old hollywood glamour.
