For those striving to make more of their work and create their best pieces, it is absolutely necessary to have the best tools available. However, budget is often a problem when looking for those programs that will help you achieve greatness. You need them to get better, but you often have to pay much more money for the programs that make your work truly shine.

This is why I love that Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan is only $9.99 a month (only $119 for the whole year!) This gives you access to a multitude of edit features at a fraction of the cost for the entire Adobe Collection Suite. You will have only the necessary programs without all the extras that you might not use. If you need that edge to polish your work, now you can do it for only $10 a month! Best part is that there is no long term commitment when you choose month to month!

Programs

The Photography Plan has a lot to offer including the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC and the Adobe Photoshop CC.

Lightroom will allow you to digitally edit photos with ease. You can enhance colors with the targeted adjustment tool and even change perspectives. Retouch pesky areas in your photos for a smooth and flawless image. The fabulous new filter brush will let you apply filters only to specific areas of the photo.

Multiple filters allow you to enhance or lessen atmospheric haze. Sharpen your blurred pictures to recreate crisp images, and use the radial filter to fix lighting and contrast with simplicity. Lightroom even makes it a synch to merge multiple exposures of an image together (and still allow for other potential edits) to create a HDR masterpiece.

If you don’t like your edits you can always return to the original image without losing any of the untouched photo. Use the facial recognition feature to easily search your photos and group them. Once you have finished your works of art, easily organize and design collections or albums that you can share across your devices.

In Photoshop you will be able to work more efficiently and create your best work.

  • Add up to ten instances of select layers and re-edit any one layer at anytime.
  • Content-Aware Move and Content-Aware Extend allows you to adjust the scale and rotation of objects you want moved to insure perfection.
  • Adjust resolution on 3D images to make Photoshop editing more effective.
  • Add color noise or monochromatic to create better blurred effects and make them more manageable.
  • Content Aware Fill will color in the blank areas of combined multiple photos to create one seamless panorama.
  • Check out the marketplace to use and manage royalty-free images.
  • And much, much more to help you create beautiful, original pieces of work.

Use Across Devices

Adobe CreativeSync allows you to work across devices. Photoshop and Lightroom offer mobile apps providing the ability to start editing from your desktop and finish right from you phone or any other device. Work fluently from your computer, on the web, iPhone or Android device. You can also capture photos on your phone and immediately start working on your photo right from your phone. Pick up where you left off later on your laptop or desktop. Your images and designs are available on every device. The moment you make and editor flag a favorite, it is automatically updated and available on all devices. You can also share with anyone that has a creative cloud account.

Mobile Apps

In addition to the Lightroom and Photoshop Apps that help you create and work anywhere at anytime, there are many more apps that come with the photography plan.

  • Adobe Slate – create stories with your images. Design interactive and informative presentations to share with anyone across social media or any way you’d like. You can make everything from invitations to advertisements.
  • Adobe Voice – Create narratives or music to accompany your visual stories.
  • Adobe Portfolio – This feature is arriving soon, and it will allow you to create your own website that will showcase your work in a streamlined and easy to access portfolio.
  • Adobe Premiere Clip – Edit your videos right from your iPhone or iPad.

No Internet, No Problem

You don’t need to be connected to the internet to use the program. As long as your subscription is up to date you can use right from your desktop no internet needed. Power outage? Stuck in a dead zone? Nothing will stand in the way of getting your work done.

Speed

You may notice faster processing in Lightroom CC even as your number of images multiply. The speedy performance is due to the fact that it is tapping into the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) instead of the main processor. It will vary depending on you computer, but regardless of the location of the GPU, you will notice better speed and accessibility.

Widely Used

The fact that this program is so widely used by professionals isn’t just a selling point, it’s also key in making your life easier. Why reinvent the wheel when so many others have already mastered what you are trying to accomplish? What I mean by this is you can take advantage of the creativity of others but using pre-made presets and effects. There are hundreds you can find for free just by doing a simple Google search, and some for purchase as well.

Easy to Use

You’ll be able to immediately start using these features with the countless tutorials. There are step by step instructions for the novice (transferring photos to your computer) all the way to the professional (removing objects). The tutorials are easy to follow and offer a wide array of helpful hints and tips to turn those “almost perfect” photos into the works of art they truly are.

The Photography Plan even has a free 30 day trial so you can see exactly what it can do for you and your work to give it the edge you need to get noticed. Learn more about the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan.
