We keep several in our pantry, since it has so many other uses including keeping odors out of the fridge I love finding alternate uses for baking soda because its affordable and less harsh than using chemicals.

  1. I knew baking soda could be used for tons of things but several of these I hadn’t heard of such as polishing jewelry. Will have to give that a try.

  2. I didn’t know I could clean up combs and brushes that way. I’m SO on that tip! I do use it to keep drains and garbage cans fresh though!

  3. I knew about a lot of those uses, but I didn’t know about soaking in baking soda for dry itchy skin!! I need to do that ASAP! I am suffering from an allergic reaction to who knows what and I’m dying with my itchy skin. I need to give this a try.
