Why I love the BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max

The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max is the vacuum that cleans AND washes your floors at the SAME time – mind blown.

I have a love-hate relationship with vacuuming. But then again, doesn’t everyone?

While I’ve always been strangely obsessed with the vacuum marks left behind on freshly clean carpet, the process of lugging out the heavy vacuum is a great enough deterrent to push the chore out to my monthly (instead of weekly) list.

Honestly, it isn’t even so much the vacuuming bit as it is the unwinding and re-winding of the cord before and after. I HATE that part.

It’s just like neatly piling up a garden hose after you use it – who likes to do that?!?

How do you use the BISSELL CrossWave Max?

And this is where my love affair with the BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max begins. My home is fairly small at only 800 square feet, but it really doesn’t matter. You just don’t know how convenient it is to no longer plug and unplug with each room until you go cordless.

It’s also great to not have to switch products as I move from room to room as the BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max supports multi-surface cleaning – which means it’s safe and effective for use on tile, sealed wood floors, laminate, linoleum, rubber floor mats, pressed wood floors, area rugs and more.

While I own a couple of cordless stick vacs (well, more than a couple), the beauty of the BISSELL CrossWave Max is that it vacuums AND washes your floors at the SAME time!

For someone with hardwood floors throughout, this is an incredible time-saver. This feature also means that you can use the BISSELL to clean up spills and other liquid messes as they happen. MIND BLOWN.

I’m not sure how they are making this magic happen, but I do know it has a self-cleaning cycle that helps maintain the machine’s cleaning performance thanks to “Two-Tank Technology” which keeps the clean water and formula separate from the dirty water tank and dry debris. Easy to clean too? I’m sold.

I haven’t even mentioned the feature for tech junkies like me yet. It has Wi-Fi connected capabilities! The BISSELL Connect app provides helpful alerts, maintenance tracking and usage tips.

BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max review

The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max still remains really light at only 11.5 lbs and easily maneuvers around furniture, corners and bypasses curious kittens with a simple twist of the handle. Neither does it sacrifice capacity with an 9.5 inch cleaning path and a .2 gallon bin capacity.

Plus, it easily picks up pet hair that gathers along baseboards and in corners of your home. Ew.

How much is the BISSELL CrossWave Max?

For an appliance that does two things at once, I think the price is really reasonable at about $250. That’s less than half the price of the Dyson Stick Vac that I also have!

It’s also worth noting that the filter is reusable (less waste in our landfills!) which saves time and energy with no bags to buy or replace. The BISSELL CrossWave Max also comes backed with a 2-year limited warranty.

Have you tried this vacuum yet and what do you think of it?
