Have you ever had a moment growing up where you thought you saw a ‘monster’ for a moment, just to realize it was just old boxes? Well, according to the upcoming Focus Feature’s film The Boxtrolls, maybe you were right all along!
Proving that heroes can come in all shapes and sizes…even rectangles, The Boxtrolls tells the story of a community of quirky, mischievous creatures who lovingly raise an orphaned human boy named Eggs on their own. Hiding beneath the streets of Cheesebridge in an amazing cavernous abode, The Boxtrolls love sneaking around the town when it’s late at night, capturing food and having fun! Proving that life, can indeed, be an enjoyable game of hide and seek, The Boxtrolls motivate kids of all ages to dare to be square in the best way possible!
From the creators of “Coraline” and “ParaNorman,” this upcoming film set for a September 26, 2014 release, looks to be great for both boys and girls (and their parents of course!) and therefore we can’t wait to share with you a first look of the new must-see family film courtesy of Yahoo! Movies.
Proving that kids can do anything they set their mind to, The Boxtrolls looks to be a wonderful adventure that’s full of surprises.
While the Boxtrolls do enjoy hiding out, (especially since they’re hiding from Archibald Snatcher), they also love hanging out with kids on the computer with their parent’s permission. Children of all ages can visit TheBoxTrolls.com to make their own Boxtroll and search the website trying to find the sneaky hiding Boxtrolls who want to play hide and seek on the homepage.
While you’re there check out the previous two trailers for the currently unrated film, and make sure to mark your calendars for the September 26th release!
