My husband and I were the first of our friends to buy our first home. As such, the dinner party responsibility fell squarely on our shoulders. With friends spread across the state we like to have a few parties with our closest friends throughout the year. It started with a Halloween Party that everyone loved so much they were requesting we host a NYE party in just a few short months. We always try to make our parties as festive and unique as possible.
A successful party has more than just decorations, it’s being able to carry the theme into everything from the food to the drinks. St Patricks day is right around the corner and our friends have already started dropping not-so-subtle hints. So I’ve been looking up festive drink recipes and who knew there were so many? It makes green beer look lame.

And if your like my husband and you really must … Green Beer is super easy.
Just put in 4-5 drops food coloring in the bottom of a pre-frosted glass (put them in the freezer to chill) and then pour in the beer. It mixes itself.
He is even more excited that his beer will be coming out of this awesome Dual Fuel Old Fashioned Gas Pump Liquor Dispenser. Fill it up with your favorite Liquor (or beer) and it will pump right out. It’s little things like these that are memorable for guest and really make the party a hit.
I’m not a drinker, but these look pretty.
