Mothers Day is right around the corner and I am so lucky to have 5 amazing women in my life to honor and celebrate. They span multiple generations and I enjoy the vast wisdom they have to offer. But of all the amazing women in my life I have always had a special relationship with my grandmother. She is a the woman who helped me during some of the hardest transitions in my life.
Growing up she was always in the kitchen. In fact, she taught me how to cook – something my husband thanks her for on a regular basis. She passed down traditions to my cousins and I, and created memories for us growing up. And she has always been my greatest champion. Whether she was cheering me on in the show ring or helping me through those rough but typical transitions through life. As a matriarch, she taught me how to be a backbone for my family in the way she was in hers. Which is why I chose her to wrap in a great big bear hug this Mothers day and enter her in the Helzberd Diamonds #BearHug Contest.
