I don’t know who’s big idea it was to try and plan a wedding in 6 months, but it wasn’t a good one. Oh wait, that was me! You never realize just how many details are involved in planning a wedding until you’re, well, planning one. (And a destination wedding at that!) There have been countless appointments, phone conferences, dress shops and last minute hoops to jump through. I’ve switched deodorants and had my hair, nails and teeth done. I’ve been a long time user of Lancome products and the newest addition to the line up is my Lancome DreamTone.

Lancome’s DreamTone is the next generation in dark spot correction. In fact, 72% of women dare to bare their skin with this customized skin tone correcting serum. The new DreamTone is 3 barely-tinted serums formulated to visibly correct dark spots, color imperfections and give you a more even-looking skin tone.

Other women who used this product saw results at intervals from immediately upon use up to 8 weeks.

IMMEDIATELY:
• 74% saw glowing skin*

7 DAYS:
• 70% noticed a more even skin tone*

4 WEEKS:
• 69% saw the appearance of dark spots reduced*

8 WEEKS:
• 78% saw color imperfections reduced*

*All results based on global self-assessments of women of multiple ethnicities in an 8-week study. 72% reflects 8 weeks of use.

Ever since having Whistler, my facial skin has become ultra sensitive and I have a hard time finding products that I can use. Lancome has been a long time favorite brand of mine that I have always had great results with. So it was only a minor surprise that I didn’t experience any irritation whatsoever from using this product. YAY! That, in and of itself, is a huge plus for me. I also tend to have an oily T-Zone and actually avoid using moisturizer, lest I become a shiny hot mess within the first hour. Once again, I did not have this problem with DreamTone. I NEVER leave the house without putting on as least eye makeup, and yet here I am – showing you my #BareSelfie…

I’ve had the product for 3 weeks and have been using it twice daily, morning and night and I’m convinced that DreamTone has made a big difference on how my skin looked for my wedding day. I’m happy to report that it has even helped with something I didn’t think could be “helped” ever but especially in time for my big day. As much as I love the sun, it doesn’t always treat me, or my skin well. As such I have a ton of freckles, skin pigmentation, dark spots and uneven skin. I definitely feel like my skin tone is much more even and my mother even made a comment to me last week about it.

I’ve never worn foundation and I tried going in to have my makeup done at the salon for a trial run a few days before the big day. I was so unhappy with the way it turned out – I felt like a clown and it just didn’t feel like “me”. I decided to forgo the professional makeup application on my wedding day and went instead with simply using my daily ritual of DreamTone plus a light dusting of a translucent powder to help keep the shine away. Of course I used some blush and eye makeup, but my skin was otherwise pretty much BARE. That’s right, NO foundation!!

I think my wedding photos speak for themselves, but what do you think?
