One of the best ways to save money for your family and friends this holiday season is by shopping at outlet stores and malls. With over 13,000 outlet malls across the country, you probably have one near you. I know SoCal is a hotspot for awesome PUMA Outlet stores that offer a one-stop-shop with something for everyone on your list and can help making shopping a breeze this holiday season. In addition to convenience, outlet stores are a great way to save money all year but deals get especially sweet during the holiday sales. Plus, with a bit of research you can save even more.&

3 Tips For Saving Money at Outlet Stores

Get the Inside Scoop

Always view the store’s website before heading out. This way you can be aware of any promotions, sales or coupons they’re offering. If you’re shopping at an outlet mall, swing by customer service too where you may be able to find coupon books and information sheets. Ask about any loyalty programs and you can earn things like points for purchases, exclusive coupons, and notifications of sale dates.

Set a Shopping Budget

Any time you’re looking to save money it’s important to set a budget because it can be easy to spend more when you feel you are getting a bargain. This way you can make informed decisions about the cost of items you’re choosing from. It also helps motivate you to find the best deals: use your coupons, check the clearance racks and shop the sales!

Find a Coupon

One of the great advantages of outlet stores is that their already lower prices can be combined with coupons! Just be careful because coupons that work at the outlet store rarely work at their retail stores and vice versa so be sure to read the fine print.

This year PUMA Outlet Stores are offering $20 off purchases of $100 or more at participating Southern California Puma Outlet stores. (Valid 11/20-12/24). Coupon is valid at participating Southern California PUMA Outlets.

Offer is not valid at The PUMA Store or PUMA.com. Offer is valid November 20, 2015 through December 24, 2015 and shall have no redeemable value thereafter. Offer is for one-time use only and cannot be combined with any other offer or coupon. Offer cannot be applied to past purchases, redeemed for cash equivalent, used to purchase gift cards, or used as payment on an account. Offer cannot be combined with the PUMA Employee Discount. PUMA reserves the right to cancel this offer at any time, request coupon surrender upon use, and to cancel orders arising from pricing, technical, or other errors. All returns are subject to PUMA’s Return/Exchange Policy Guidelines. Usage is subject to credit approval and product availability.

  1. Coupon is one of my favourite words! Ha! I usually check online to see if there are any promo codes or coupons before heading out to shop. I also check clearance/sale racks first.

  2. Thanks for these tips. Even if it is the holiday season, we must still practice being budget friendly or else, we’d be welcoming the New Year with empty pockets. I visit stores that have 3 day sales or search online for coupons to use.

  3. My local outlet usually gives out the coupon booklets so I always pick it up whenever we go. I think I have about 6 of them for this year alone. :)
