Here are the materials needed: construction paper, scissors, markers or crayons, glue stick, googly eyes (optional), and an empty toilet paper roll (you could skip the paint shown in the video and just make the roll from a brown piece of construction paper).

If you’re looking for a way to get your kids involved with the Thanksgiving celebrations this year, then here’s an idea from A Lovely Lark.

You could use leaves as feathers or sticks as legs and so on. I love making new things out of what we already have lying around at home too.

With some edible markers and marshmallows in different colors, the children create beautiful works of art on a stick that they themselves get to eat afterwards!
Kids are allowed to make messes sometimes; there is absolutely no reason why it should be any different when drawing pictures or playing with your food at home.
What I like most about this project is how much fun they have while doing something so simple: turning plain old marshmallow into delicious masterpieces just by using colorful edible paint pens on them.
