Epiphanie Camera Bag

If you have ever been to a purse party, bridal shower or baby shower you’ve probably played the game “Whats In Your Bag?” The winner is always the person who seems to carry everything in their bag. Well, meet that person. I can’t carry anything smaller than a shoulder bag because it ends up filled with ‘essential’ items that I can’t seem to part with.

It was only inevitable that when I made the jump from a standard point and shoot to a DSLR, that my camera bag would end up much the same way.  When I purchased my DSLR, I also purchased a plain, beige (read: ugly) camera bag to go with it. It was thick, oddly shaped and heavily padded. Of course, it also cost less than $15 because I was nearly in hysterics over how much I just spent on a camera. A purchase I wasn’t entirely confident in, for a hobby that may just end up being a whim.

Fast forward 8 months and two photography classes later, and it is clearly time for an upgrade. Not only was my plain jane bag unable to hold even a memory card, it was inconvenient for reasons to numerous to expound. Fact of the matter was, I needed something bigger and then my friend Kristy was showing off her Epiphanie Camera Bag on Facebook. I was HOOKED. I spent hours perusing their selection, asked the advice of family members and finally settled on Lola

Lola was everything I needed in a camera bag. She was large, ultra-stylish and could accommodate everything I needed for something I find myself doings more and more frequently – traveling. Which brings me back around to the ‘What’s in your bag?’ game and why Lola goes with me everywhere.

Epiphanie

Lola is designed with six velcro panels can be adjusted to any position for maximum customization (2 long, 4 short). I currently carry her with 2 long, and two short. Inside I’m able to fit everything pictured above

  • Camera Body
  • Lens
  • Wallet
  • Pen
  • Advil
  • Spare Battery
  • Camera Battery Charger
  • Mophie
  • Phone Charger
  • Phone
  • Keys
  • Pen
  • Business Cards
  • Spare SD Card
  • AND a small tablet

with room to spare for an additional lens and 1 or two other essentials.

Lola

Thanks to the velcro dividers, three internal and external pockets and spacious design my things are not a jumbled mess, but well organized and well protected. Additionally, the well padded straps make it comfortable for a day of shooting – or a day of  travel as it makes a fantastic carry on bag. Now that I’ve showed you mine, tell me about yours. Whats in your bag?

While Epiphanie provided the Lola bag, all opinions remain my own.
