If you want to make the shortcut version, just purchase some pre-made chocolate cupcakes at store. Easy peasy.

The cupcakes will keep at room temperature for about 4 days if stored in an airtight container.

If you freeze them, they should keep for about 2 weeks. Just remember to freeze them individually, making sure the frosting doesn’t touch.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line cupcake pan with liners.
