Did you know September 20th through the 26th is National Dog Week? I had no idea either, but Beneful let me in on the scoop so we spent the day spoiling our favorite pooch. We started talking about family pets when I became pregnant with our daughter and by the time she was born, we had decided to get a boxer. It was just a matter of finding the right puppy. Beneful4 Zoey found us when my daughter was four months old. That was five years ago. Five years of making her part of the family, teaching tricks, long walks, countless throws of the ball and watching our two favorite girls grow up together. Boxers are known to be an active breed so a day spent spoiling Zoey is a day spent on the run. She loves a brisk walk around our apartment complex, a good game of fetch or a toss of the frisbee.  Beneful To be honest she could go for hours! Far longer than we can but even she wears out – eventually. Which is the perfect time for a good belly rub. She has trained us well over the last five years! Beneful It also means it’s time for some chow which happens to be another favorite of boxers and another good way to celebrate National Dog Week. If it were up to our five year old she would fill Zoey’s belly with treats. But we wouldn’t let Maddilyn fill up on treats so why would we let our four legged kid? Thankfully our pets can fill up with foods that make them healthy and happy. Beneful dog food is made with good-for-you ingredients like real meats and vitamin-rich veggies, bringing our best buddy tons of different tastes and textures to nourish both inside and out. 1. I feel like it’s always National Dog week in my house, my dog Baloo is SO spoiled as all dogs should be. He’s a rescue and got a lot of extra loving when we first adopted him. I love this dog food, it was the first type that we gave Baloo when we got him home.
