When I had the opportunity to join the Vanity Fair #WomenWhoDo program, I jumped at the chance because of its spirit in supporting, inspiring and encouraging women. As an entrepreneurial woman myself, I crave environments that allow women to grow, inspire and help each other. Being a part of this program over the last few months has given me that environment and it’s also offered me opportunities to share causes that are all about empowering women.

Vanity Fair Women Who Do

I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Influence Central forVanity Fair Lingerie. I received product samples to facilitate my review and compensation to thank me for my participation.

I had so many memorable moments over the course of this program beginning with attending the Women Who Do summit in New York with 24 other incredible women where we developed momentum and inspiration for the rest of our journey with Vanity Fair. It all began with Vanity Fair’s support with Dress for Success. If there was ever a company that screamed girl power, Dress for Success might be it. Since they began operating in 1997, Dress for Success has helped more than 850,000 women work towards self-sufficiency.

They provide so much more than just work attire for women who need it. They also provide a network of support and development tools to help these women thrive at work and in life. The stories I learned from women who benefited from the program were inspiring; not only because of the adversity they overcame but also because of the network of women who helped lift them through it.

Along the way, I also had the pleasure of getting to know Vanity Fair products on an intimate level. After being custom fitted at Macys to find just my size, I fell in love with Vanity Fair Beauty Back Strapless Underwire Bra. It’s one of those best friend bras, that totally keeps up with my traveling lifestyle. It packs well thanks to it’s “smoosh free” technology that allows it to retain its original smooth, soft shape. When it’s on, it stays perfectly in place thanks to a second line of silicone grips allowing me to take all of the jumping photos I want and also is perfect for not having straps in the tropical weather tanks I tend to wear. Extra bonus is that the back straps are designed to help prevent bra bulge, something I’m having a hard time living without whenever I try to wear another bra!

But most importantly, what I took away from this program is that the key to success is confidence and so many factors go into building that confidence. It’s having the right outfit for the job interview or the crucial meeting. From a great fitting bra to an ensemble that made you feel like a million bucks. It’s getting the interview because you have an amazing network of women behind you. It’s scoring the job because you had the perfect resume, the right qualifications, and a winning attitude. It’s having the confidence to jump in front of the camera and be IN the picture, instead of always being the one who takes it. It’s applying that foundation of success and confidence to all areas of your life and finally, using that confidence and success to empower the women around you too.

  1. I’m ashamed to say that I’ve never been fitted for a bra before, and I really need to. I’ve heard it makes all the difference!

  3. I love that pattern on the bra. I need more with patterns instead of just plain colors. I also really need to get custom fitted while I’m at it. I feel like now that I’m exercising more often, my bra size keeps changing!
