Ladies, how old were you when you began dreaming about your wedding dress? I have friends that started making wish books in college with photos of designs and gowns they liked, before they were even engaged!
Of course, while they’re flipping through binders and books of wedding ideas, today we have Pinterest.
If you take a look at some of her gorgeous dresses, its pretty easy to see why!
Borges is passionate about using vintage lace in her designs and searches for it at fairs and antique shops around the world.
Her wedding dresses are described as “works of art.” They are elegant, simple, unique and elaborate.
Unfortunately, it is difficult to find much information about her. Her website is in Portugese, and as far as I can tell she doesn’t make collections like other designers.
Luckily, Wanda Borges does have an Instagram account and it appears she makes dresses to order! You can reach out to her for a custom made-to-measure wedding dress.
She also has a beautiful line of lingerie that is just as jaw dropping as her wedding dresses.
Some of our Favorite Wanda Borges Wedding Dresses
The sheer back and sleeves with lace detailing gives this wedding dress just enough sexy while still staying fairly conservative.
I’m not sure if I could pull this modern wedding dress look off, but if you are tall with long legs, this might be one for you!
The button detail and flower accents on the sheer back and shoulders is probably one of my favorite wedding dresses by Wanda Borges.
And a look at the back of the same wedding dress…
I am so in love with the lace trimmed cap sleeves and open back on this wedding dress. Absolutely stunning!
The sweetheart neckline with a fuller ball gown lower dress is a flattering look for any bride.
Just look at the lace train on this one!
It’s clear that Wanda Borges doesn’t follow wedding trends but rather creates a dress that the bride has envisioned with a timeless spin.
She has also designed dresses for mothers of the bride, head wear and coordinating shoes. As we mentioned earlier, she also has a lingerie line for brides, Hope Lingerie.
You can find her contact information at Wanda Borges, but beware you may need to use Google reader to translate.
