What a Day on Jenny Craig Looks Like

Sometimes one of the hardest parts of beginning a weight loss journey is figuring out where to start. If we jump in over our head, the likelihood that we will quit increases dramatically. If we take too small of steps and fail to see results quick enough we will most likely give up. So how do we find that balance?

One of the easiest, no brainer solutions are weight loss kits. Kits like the the new 3-Day Jenny Craig Weight Loss Starter Kit (available at Walmart) are designed to do just that – give us an easy way to jumpstart our weight loss journey while providing the balance we need.

The kit provides staples to use for your 3 main meals for 3 days, including snacks! The system is designed for the included meals to be supplemented with fresh fruits, vegetables and salads. In addition to the 3 days of meals, the kit also contains a free meal planner, a weight loss starter guide, $50 in Jenny Craig Bucks and free consultation with one of their 2000 personal consultants. The meal planner is AWESOME. It takes the guess work out of “what do I eat/make?”. It even includes a shopping list so you know exactly how to stock your kitchen for the week.

What a Day on the Jenny Craig Starter Kit Looks Like

Just to show you the variety and quality of a typical day on Jenny Craig, I photographed all my meals for one whole day – with one snack. But it was a cheese stick – I’m sure you can picture that one just fine on your own!

I was provided a free Jenny Craig Weight Loss Starter Kit. However, the opinions expressed are entirely my own.

What I like most about this kit is that it fits perfectly into any busy life style and provides just the right amount of incentive to keep going without being too hard, or too slow to show results. Unlike a strict diet regimen, the Jenny Craig system offers flexibility while providing perfectly portioned meals. Plus, I can eat the breakfast, lunch, dinners and snacks in any order. Variety is key to any diet and this one has just that. Another huge bonus that works especially well for me is that they offer non-frozen, travel friendly options. For me that’s essential because I travel so often and that’s always the time I’m tempted to fall off the wagon.

You can find this 3-Day Jenny Craig Weight Loss Starter Kit at Walmart stores for around $45. Doing some quick math, thats just under $15 per day to feed yourself 3 meals and 3 snacks. Of course you’ll need to factor in the supplemental items, but overall this plan is relatively inexpensive to other diets I have tried and seen. And with the included coupon for $50 in food credit when you sign up with Jenny Craig, it’s even more affordable!

*TIP* You can usually find it in the Pharmacy section of Walmart.

  1. I had no idea that you could get Jenny Craig kits at Walmart! Thanks for showing us an example of a typical day on the program!

  2. Meals for 3 days for $45 is not bad at all. I will have to check this out. I really need to bring my weight down, I am diabetic and I cannot be overweight.

  3. Oh wow – I ofcourse have heard about Jenny Craig before and seen a lot of people use it before but I have never looked into what the food looks like.

  4. I like this diet plan since it does not deprive you too much. It just limits your intake. I think a part of a good diet is being happy with it.

  5. Your first sentance says it all. The most difficult part about a weight loss routine is figuring out where to start. How to do it. For me, if someone told me what to have and how much, that would take the really confusing part of a diet away.

  6. I had no idea that Jenny Craig had these starter kits. Good luck on your weight loss journey getting started is always half the battle.

  7. Looks like there is enough of a selection of flavors to keep you engaged on the taste side. Good luck with the plan, I hope that it goes great and you reach your goals!
